The Target Population of Connecting With Care

Through school-based services combined with an evening clinic, Connecting With Care serves children and youth of Dorchester, Roxbury and surrounding communities and their families. Our service area has strong social ties and spirited community organizations who come together to combat the high rate of violent crime and to support the neighborhood’s children and families.

In concert with neighborhood efforts, CWC links its partner schools with a collaboration of specially designed mental health services that support students, families, and schools.  Connecting With Care serves students and families from five schools in Boston.  These are schools that the School District has identified as highly in need of extra services.

The Lilla G. Frederick Pilot Middle School, a new full-service community school situated in the Grove Hall neighborhood of Dorchester serves as the hub of Connecting With Care and the site of our Evening Family Clinic.
